If you want to get to a place like this, a place where you have absent thought you may want to watch the lights behind your eyelids. Simply become a spectator in your own mind.
Step 3 – When you have thoughts popping into your mind, it might be a good idea to focus on your breath. Your breathing should be steady and calm. Breathe in deeply through your nose, and out though your mouth.
Imagine the air that you are breathing in is nourishing the very cells of your body and allow yourself to physically and mentally relax further. Allow your worry to slip away with each breath.
Step 4 – In your mind’s eye you should now picture golden rays of light around you. Allow yourself to feel the warmth of these rays.
Imagine these lights coming from above and shining through your head as you are filled up with this warm and energizing light. Welcome this light and allow it to revitalize your mind and body.
Step 5 – In this quiet and relaxed state, think about the things that you are grateful for, all that you love about yourself and things or people in your life. In this positive self loving place you can now open yourself to communicate with the energy around you.
This loving and grateful energy is where your spirit guide lives. This is the time that you can contact them.
With the inner recesses of your mind filled with love and gratitude you are finally ready to enter your sacred garden. This is a safe space within you which is for healing. It is where you can finally contact your spirit guide and connect with them.
What Happens When You Meet Your Spirit Guide?

Recognize Your Sacred Place
When you finally meet your spirit guide, there are a few things that you need to bear in mind. Firstly, in your mind you need to picture a gorgeous garden, magical, and spectacular in every way.
In this garden you can be healed, reach a deep inner calm and get the answers to your questions that you need.
Ask Your Spirit Guide To Reveal Themselves
Now that you are in your sacred place, you can ask your spirit guide to come forward. Ask with your mind filled with the feelings of expectancy and love. Think of it as if you are meeting a dear friend.
Note who your guide is, every detail that you can remember. There are no right and wrong answers to this question. Now, you can ask them for their name.
Understand And Befriend Your Spirit Guide
Now you can start to get to know your spirit guide, within the sacred place of your mind. You can ask them questions or just observe them and the garden around you. It might be a good idea to take note of this interaction and how you feel.
Rest Your Mind And Body in Gratitude
Once you are satisfied with your meditation you should thank your spirit guide for joining you in the sacred place within your mind. This place should be comforting, safe and accepting. You should visit this sacred place as often as you feel the need.
