     Less obvious to many people is why they would need to have a Past Life reading. The answer is to get to know who you really are on a deeper level, just for starters. (Note: from the viewpoint of the Soul, all lifetimes, past/present/future are occurring simultaneously and are interconnected - they all affect each other. Heal one and you heal them all to a certain extent.) In this reading usually between 4 and 6 past lives will come up for you to know about and integrate.

     Integrating lessons from past lives is highly beneficial in that it can be healing to the soul as well as the physical, emotional, and mental body.  Some people even report looking younger after getting past life readings. Others have also reported having illnesses clear up after certain readings.  I believe this is because an invisible weight has been lifted from their Soul. Another benefit of these readings to you is that you may regain lost attributes and abilities; Kryon calls this "mining" the Akashic Records.  You may also resolve old hurts, traumas, phobias, fears, and finally determine how to end certain recurring patterns due to lessons not learned or unresolved misunderstandings or issues from past lifetimes.

     Past life regressions are very different than Past Life readings.  In the regression you are hypnotized and remember the event yourself. The regression has the potential to be quite traumatizing if the event is a difficult one; you actually re-live the event experiencing all the original feelings and trauma (if there is any).   In the Past Life  reading, someone who actually has permission of the Spiritual Heirarchy to access the Akashic Records reads it for you.  Lois offers the latter, either in person or at a distance.

     Past Life readings can be quite helpful for us at particular points in our spiritual growth.  They can also explain certain relationships and recurring patterns in our lives.  They can help us heal physically or to get over phobias or irrational fears, as well as assist us in letting go of harmful situations. I am a firm believer in psychotherapy; but to the best of my knowledge, it does not officially address past lives, although I feel sure it will one day.      In your reading, from four to six lifetimes will be discussed, depending upon what your guides want you to know at the time. These are usually "past" lives, but can also be "future" possible lives, although in actuality, they are all happening at the same time from the perspective of the Soul.
